Ma’at was born June 5 and is a native of the soulful ‘Motor City/Motown Sound; home to ‘The Queen of Soul/Lady Soul’ Aretha Franklin, ‘Soul Songtress’ Anita Baker, the impassioned Stevie Wonder, renowned Della Reese, Sassy Diana Ross, graceful Rosa Parks and The Detroit Pistons! Home to Detroit ’s favorite drink… ‘Sparkling-Fizzy’ Vernor’s Ginger Ale and Faygo Beverages Inc. PERSONAL EXPERIENCES YOU CAN USE

Ma’at served as a Telecommunications Operator in Misawa Japan , a Photo-journalist and also was assigned with Navspecwargru (Naval Special Warfare Group) as a Supply Clerk for the Navy Seals in Coronado , California . Her training also extended working on a Bombing Range with the Japanese Military and was awarded ‘The Red Feather’ Appreciation Award. Ma’at is a veteran of the U.S. Navy. This allowed her to travel worldwide to scenic horizons and historical landmarks like Hawaii (USS Arizona Memorial- 1,177 crew lost their lives in the Pearl Harbor bombing in 1941; Diamond Head Volcano-350-acre crater and most famous landmark; The Dole Pineapple Plantation-world’s largest maze, 1.7 miles; The Hale Koa Hotel-military facility- on Waikiki beach near downtown Honolulu and best deal in town); swap meets at the drive-in…truly avoiding the tourist trap for little or nothing; catching the Waikiki Transportation Bus-both scenic and saves gas. A CONNECTION

Ma’at developed a valuable interrelationship and connection with natives, practitioners, doctors and other healers and common people who shared beautifications, sacred ancient lineage and other historicisms that involved regrouping, renewing, restoring and rededication to vitality and power to one’s being. Many of the testimonials were about living life with nature’s pharmacy —with peace and harmony. It helps us to not only live but to be alive and understand nature and all beings.

PERSONAL PRO-ACTIVE GROWTH

Ma’at invested in an Associates of Science, Bachelors in Education, Training and Development and numerous certifications for personal growth along with being an avid volunteer throughout her life; lending a helping hand for positive outcome, including training for CPR/First Aid Instructor Certification. Ma’at has a long-standing pro-active presence as a public relations/customer service representative for over 20 years. She has spent equal and extensive time studying and understanding nature and wholistic healing; so much so that she is studying to become a Doctor of Naturopathy at Clayton College of Natural Health.

Ma’at has taught in the public school system; taught GED; worked with Katrina Survivors, W.I.T ( Women in Transition ) Program and helped bring Toastmaster’s International to a correctional facility in Washington State ( Spokane ). She has designed collages and artwork such as ‘Hurricane Katrina Survivors’, ‘Know Thyself: The Legacy of Timbuktu ’, ‘Gloria’s Kitchen…I Will Survive’ and ‘Reparations Now’ being the most notable ones. She has written two books; a Personal Growth Wholistic Directory called ‘P.A.S.S.A.G.E’ (People Achieving Soul, Sight, Accountability, Growth and Excellence) the other is called ‘BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY” … TAKE 10! Vocabulary Game’ (published agenda 2008). Ma’at started an all natural baking business, ‘Nature Forever’ in which she mastered one of a kind karrot' bars, “Best granola”…Innergy Treat, the best chocolate chip cookies and Innergee’ bars.

Ma’at has written for several newspapers, including The Jackson Advocate. Her spirit-photography is well known throughout the country as amazing, breathtaking, unsurpassing and astounding --whatever the case may be.
