MA’AT’S ANCIENT VALUE SYSTEM AND EARNING THE NAME
Ma’at’s meaning has
Declarations/Concepts/Laws and has
basic principles which stand for Truth, Justice, Order, Balance, Harmony, Reciprocity and Righteousness (right order). Ma’at literally is the Goddess of truth. She was what was right and what things should be. She was the solid grounding of reality that made the sun rise, the stars shine, the river flow, and mankind think. She was the most important deity of them all. It is based on an Ancient ‘Afrakan’ (Af/(physical) Ra/(creator) Ka/(life-force/soul) Kemetic (Kmtic) value system defining the unifying principle of harmony which allcreation is ordered. Ma’at’s name was given to her by Historian, Scholar, Researcher, Author, Educator, Psychologist, Kemetologist: Amankwatia Baffour II [Late Dr. Asa Grant Hilliard III] 22 August 1933 - 12 August 2007 . “Papoose” is a name that was given to me by a much beloved and magical being, John “Yah Yah” Simpson. His light always shined brightly on me. He knew me and loved me unconditionally and constantly. He is what you call a true friend. I pay homage to an ancestor. He was famed for making jewelry out of sterling silverware and sculpture out of driftwood from the ocean. (see shortly his works of art)
